		<description>From what I have learned the longer they stay in the Rio Grande for spawning purposes the more vibrant pigmentation they put on to attract female mates usually darking the steel color to deeper hues of brown and orange which reflect a vibrant redish brown on their cheeks, but I think it is not  common to look this red but this is a huge male, maybe the sun made the cheeks look redder than normal in this amazing photo.</description>
